Oceania can be described as being the vast part of the world where the amazing Pacific Ocean manages to connect different nations. The white sand beaches, the beautiful coconut palms easily moved by the breeze and the breathtaking coral reefs are typical for Oceania. Oceania’s regions

Oceania is formed of four regions Australasia, Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. Australasia is formed of Australia, which is also the most populated country in Oceania and New Zealand. Melanesia contains Vanuatu, Fiji, the beautiful Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and New Caledonia. Micronesia contains the islands that are located north of the Equator or right on the Equator. These islands are Guam, Kiribati, Palau, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Wake Island and the Northern Mariana Islands. Last but not least, Polynesia contains the biggest number of islands: American Samoa, Easter Island, Cook Islands, French Polynesia, Hawaii, Samoa, Niue, Tonga, Tuvalu, Tokelau and Wallis and Futuna.

The Republic of Kiribati represents the perfect tourist destination for those who are in love with the white, delicate, sandy beaches. Kiribati is formed of no less than 33 islands (coral islands) across the waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Guam can be described as being a very vibrant tropical paradise. Those who visit Guam can go hiking, diving, they can visit the beautiful Gef Pago Park, which is a living museum where tourists can experience the old Chamorros customs and traditions and can also go reef fishing, which is very special.

Vanuatu is the country that puts very nice resorts at the disposal of its tourists. While in Vanuatu, you can relax on a beach, having a delicious cocktail by your side, or you can adventure in the lush jungle in order to enjoy the wildlife and the amazingly beautiful landscapes.

Fiji is one of the central points of Oceania. Millions of people heard about Fiji and dream about spending a holiday in the tropical paradise that spoils its tourists with blue lagoons, impressive waterfalls, stunning beaches and delicious cuisine.

Cities worth being visited in Oceania

The city became famous thanks to the fact that it hosts two amazing UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Daintree Rainforest, which is absolutely fascinating and the Great Barrier Reef.
